NBA Rumors 2014: Bet Stats Show Cavaliers In The Running For NBA Title After Rumors Of LeBron Returning As A King

The latest NBA rumors 2014 today circle on the interesting fact that a lot of people today are betting on the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the NBA title for next season.

We know people love underdogs, but this is certainly something worth noticing.

According to a report by Bleacher Report, a lot of people came to the Las Vegas SuperBook and placed their bets on the Cavalier's winning an NBA championship.

In the report by David Purdham of ESPN, the odds of Cleveland getting a ring next season has risen to 10-1.

"They are our biggest liability right now," said MGM VP of Race and Sports Jay Rood in an interview.

Interestingly, the Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs are the only two teams which have attracted more bets to win the NBA title for the 2014-15 season, which begins in a few months.

So what's the fuss all about?

In the report, the people's impulse were affected by alleged return of King James to Cleveland. In spite reports that it is very difficult for James to get back to his hometown due to his 'Decision' several seasons back, there are still speculations that LeBron may now want to end his legacy where he started it.

During the Cavalier's run towards the NBA Finals in 2007, a lot of people believed that James would be the franchise player for Cleveland. But in 2010, during his free agency, the then 2-time MVP moved to Miami with friends Chris Bosh from Toronto, and Dwyane Wade.

Now, that the Big Three is speculated to be soon going separate ways, the Cavaliers are already running to get James back. And now that he was able to make four more trips to the finals, wherein he won two rings, The King could reshape the young Cleveland squad with sensational point guard Kyrie Irving and its two young stars Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins.

If LeBron does decide to return home, the future certainly looks bright for the Cavs.
