Former congressman Patrick Kennedy, Robert Kennedy's cousin, confirmed Cheryl Hines and Robert Kennedy Jr.'s wedding will be held at Ethel Kennedy's Hyannis Port compound on Cape Cod. The groom's says many members of the Kennedy family are planning to attend.

Robert Kennedy Jr. affectionately known as "Bobby Junior" is son of the late U.S. Attorney General and presidential candidate, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968. He is the nephew of President John F. Kennedy and the late Sen. Edward Kennedy.

The Cheryl Hines Robert Kennedy Jr. wedding comes just a few weeks after it was reported by MailOnline that Bobby Kennedy had a two-year affair with Chelsea Kirwan, a Connecticut socialite. Hines and Kennedy announced that they would still go ahead with the wedding at the time, in spite of the allegations.

Robert Kennedy Jr. is an environmental lawyer and activist who lives in New York. This will be his third marriage. Kennedy was previously married twice, to Emily Black and Mary Richardson. Kennedy and Black got divorced in 1994. They had two children. Richardson and Kennedy had four children. Mary Richardson hanged herself three days after Robert Kennedy filed for divorce. The divorce was never finalized.
