Mingyu's newest brand ambassadorship is making headlines in the K-pop community. Apart from the announcement of his ambassadorship, his newest photos have also trended online, leading to the reactions and compliments of CARATs.

On August 1, Korean news outlets reported that Mingyu of SEVENTEEN has now been appointed by DIOR as its newest brand ambassador. According to sources, DIOR expressed enthusiasm  over Mingyu's inclusion in the luxury brand.

In a post by VOGUE Korea, the caption read:

"DIOR's new ambassador, Kim Mingyu. K-pop icon and SEVENTEEN member Mingyu will be together with DIOR as its newest brand ambassador.

Mingyu deliberately embodied the unique style of Dior House, which was reinterpreted through the Artistic Director of the DIOR Men's Wear Collection, Kim Jones.

We hope you will look forward to the special collaboration between DIOR and Mingyu, which will be a blend of boldness and creativity."

Earlier in February, Mingyu has already made buzz with DIOR by attending the luxury brand's 2024-2025 Fall-Winter Ready-to-Wear collection show.

CARATs couldn't hold back their love and support for Mingyu's DIOR ambassadorship. The photos in the post also caught spotlight due to Mingyu serving visuals, which generated compliments from netizens.

In other news, Mingyu shocked fans and his fellow SEVENTEEN members with his thoughtful gesture to his parents. In the 108th episode of "GOING SEVENTEEN," Mingyu revealed the amount of money he gave to his parents on Parents' Day.
