NVidia GTX 880 Release Date Expected For October; Graphic Card To Support Next Level Gaming With Maxwell GM204 Processor And DirectX 12 Technology

The NVidia GTX 880 Release date is rumored to be available sometime between October and December.

As reported by Sweclockers, Nvidia's GeForce GTX 880 and GTX 870 will be available by the end of the year and is expected to be a game changer as it is expected to support next generation graphics and is said to be based on the second generation Maxwell architecture.

According to thepcenthusiast.com:

"the upcoming GeForce GTX 880 Maxwell GPU is said to feature 3200 CUDA Cores with a boost clock of 950MHz and 5.7 TFLOPs GPU compute power. It will also feature 4GB of GDDR5 memory clock at 7.4GHz running on a 256-bit memory interface (instead of 512bit according to other rumors). Unfortunately, there is no information yet regarding the GTX 870's specifications."

The Maxwell chip architechure was introduced in the GTX 750 and 750 Ti back in February. These Maxwell chips, which are also at the heart of the GTX 800M chips making the rounds in new gaming laptops, are built on a 28nm fabrication, while the Maxwell's of the future are going to be built with the aforementioned 20nm process.

The GTX 880 is believed by users to be a huge advancement for graphics as a graphics card, which is believed to be excellent for gaming and visual performances for your computer.
