The episode synopsis reads: "Barbie and Sam investigate a mysterious tunnel, but a cave-in severs their path back to Chester's Mill. Meanwhile, Julia and Big Jim struggle for power as a dust storm sweeps through town."

Can Barbie and Sam make it back to Chester's Mill before it's too late? And can Julia and Big Jim find power through the dust storm?

As we previously reported, "Under the Dome" showrunner Neal Baer had a lot to say during last Thursday's Comic-Con panel and he promised the demise of several characters, Dread Central reports.

"We have kept the body count down a bit at the beginning of the season so we can rev it up at the end," Baer said.

Deadline also reports that a five-minute clip of Episode 7 was shown at the panel, with Mike Vogel's character Dale "Barbie" Barbara falling into a deep cavern.

"One of our characters might get out of the dome this season, literally,"  Baer added. "We just finished shooting last week and we know the ending but we won't tell you."

The episode airs August 11.
