To reitorate the bad news, "The Amazing Spiderman 3" release date has been delayed from 2016 to 2018. Instead we will get the Spiderman villain movie, "Sinister 6" in November 2016.

Sony's Columbia Pictures announced the delay on July 23. The first two films in the series were only released two years apart.

Other rumors surrounding the delayed blockbuster revolves around actress Emma Stone's part in the new movie. Apparently, she will not be returning to reprise her role as Gwen Stacy, but return as Mary-Jane Watson instead.
