There are a number of great Android apps which are free to download from the Play Store. But in case you are a fan of games like Flappy Bird and Timberman that will require great patience and the self-control to keep you from throwing your smartphone, then here's another game you will surely love. 

'Don't Touch The Spikes' by Ketchapp is one such game that will certainly test your limits when it comes to quick response gameplay. 

Like Flappy Bird, the game stars a basic bird that flies a little whenever you tap on the screen. Tap faster and it will 'fly' higher. However, the entire area where it is capable of flying is surrounded by spikes top, bottom, left and right. 

The top and bottom spikes are stationary, though one extra tap and your 'bird' would hit the top spikes or plunge to the bottom without any means of escape. 

Thankfully, the right and left spikes change every time you bump into the edge of the screen. One bump equals one level, and the higher level you are the more spikes appear on each side of the screen for every level. 

To make things fun or worse, a candy appears each time you pass a level and acquiring lots of candies allows you to unlock other 'bird characters' which I admit look cute. There are ninja birds, penguins, hawks, and even a bird that leaves a heart-shaped trail behind. 

Of course, you wouldn't be able to play these 'flappy birds' unless you spend time improving your high score, while gathering candies at the same time. 

If you think that's easy, here's another catch: every 5 levels, the entire background changes color, so that means by the time you reach level 35, your eyes have already been treated to 7 different color themes which will certainly make your eyes hurt, if you are a normal person.
