Hugh Jackman ‘Blackbeard’ Movie: Mustache Groomed For His ‘Pan’ Role, Draws Lots Of Attention From Fans

Hugh Jackman 'Blackbeard' Movie: From a clean-looking heartthrob to a bald pirate, Hugh Jackman did not mind this sudden transformation as he is determined in perfecting his pirate "Blackbeard" role in the movie "Pan," an adaptation of the classic children's story Peter Pan written by J.M. Barrie that is set to be released in 2015.

A photo on Instagram shows a bald Hugh Jackman sporting a thick moustache regardless of comments of his 876 followers on Instagram. The fun shot, further, shows him holding an alcoholic beverage that completes his pirate look.

His new moustache was also highlighted in a photo shoot with actress, Shu Qui, in Guangzhou while he was promoting his new Toyota commercial. Hugh was wearing a black suit on stage at that moment. Shu Qui, meanwhile, looks glamorous wearing a yellow floor-length gown.

Other photos on Instagram showed his change of lifestyle including his new fitness routine and diet. In his previous posts, he showed his big breakfast that was supposed to energize him during his training. His other photos contained two servings of steel cut oatmeal, ground cinnamon and raisins for breakfast.

In an interview with LA Times, Hugh said that he is doubling his gym hours from his usual one hour to 2 ½ hours daily.  He also goes biking everywhere. Hugh also admits that he ate more but still is always picky with his food. He is also said to hone his archery skills. But sources said it might not be related to his role of being a pirate.

Hugh currently lives in London for the entire filming period of Pan. Recently, he visited the Discover children's story center at Stratford with his family. He was goofing around wearing big ears and a hat. The look is supposed to be a disguise to his bald pirate look but then again, had caused a stir regarding his transformation.
