Upcoming LG Phones 2014: LG G3 Stylus Is A 5.7" Phablet That Boasts Midrange Specs, Expected To Come With Affordable Pricing

In case you are looking for a big phone but you're on a tight budget, one of the upcoming LG phones for 2014 might help you.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a new device named LG G3 Stylus will soon be launched and aims to target the mass market.

In the report, a user agent profile directly from LG's website mentions that the upcoming LG device would not be a Galaxy Note 4 competitor, but a handset that will sell to people who cannot afford $600-700 on a smartphone.

So while the phone is rumored to pack a 5.7-inch display, even bigger than the one on the LG G3, its resolution might only come at HD or (1280 x 720), which is still nothing to be ashamed about.

Aside from the mediocre screen, the device is also expected to pack the G3 mini's specs which include a Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB of RAM, a quad-core CPU and 8GB of built in memory.

Other rumored specs include a microSD card slot, 8-megapixel snapper at the back, 1.3MP front cam, 4G LTE support and Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.

Given its model name, the LG G3 Sylus will come with a stylus, though we're not yet sure if the accessory comes with unique features and functions for the smartphone.

There are a number of high-end competitors in the Android market nowadays, but it looks like LG wants to dominate the midrange level. Unfortunately, Chinese brands such as ZTE and Xiaomi have been giving the market the best hardware available for less than $400.

Let us see whether the Korean brand can place a more aggressive price tag for the LG G3 Stylus. Depending on the pricing, the LG G3 Stylus could be an ideal alternative for people who can't afford the LG G3, but loves its stylish design.
