Samsung Galaxy S4 users can now install Android 4.4.4 KitKat Update on their smartphone!

The post on GSM Arena noted that the Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 can only be upgraded officially with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update. But thanks to custom Android ROM developers, a new firmware based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat is available for the 2013 flagship smartphone.

The report on International Business Times reads, "According to Team Android, the new AICP custom firmware is based on v4.4.4 Android KitKat and brings in loads of customization options, performance tweaks and many more improvements to enhance user-experience."

Those who wish to install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 via the AICP custom ROM need to be more punctilious during the installation process, since the available firmware is not an official release from the South Korean manufacturer.

To install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 using the Android Ice Cold Project (AICP) custom firmware, follow these detailed steps provided on this post.
