Barclays Premier League: Jordon Mutch for Queens Park Rangers

Jordon Mutch from Cardiff City grabbed his paper and pen as he took part of the third summer signing of Queens Park Rangers with an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old midfielder has nodded for a four-year deal at Loftus Road after an amazing debut campaign in the Barclays Premier League with Cardiff, gaining seven goals and providing five assists as he made 35 appearances in the said Premier League.

"Jordon's a fine young player, with a big, big future," said Harry Redknapp.

"I'm really delighted to be here, back in the Premier League," he told qpr.co.uk "I don't see a better place for me than QPR at the moment. The club is heading in the right direction and I'm really excited about the season ahead."

He added: "I had a good first season in the Premier League last year with Cardiff, so I was delighted when QPR came in for me and offered a route back to the top-flight. I'm really happy to be here and hopefully we can do well this season."

Mutch blends in with Rio Ferdinand and Steven Caulker, also players from Cardiff, as Harry Redknapp's summer signings and the QPR manager predicts big and great things for his latest acquisition.

"Jordon's a fine young player, with a big, big future," Redknapp said. "He's already shown what he can do at this level with Cardiff last season with a decent goals return - and this move will provide him with a great platform to take his game on to the next level."

He continued: "He wants to learn and improve his game. He's a good pro with a great attitude and this is a big opportunity for him at QPR."

Redknapp's team begins their Barclays Premier League campaign against Hull City on 16th of August.
