Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users can now install official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update!

Those who own the T-Mobile variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 can now install a new firmware update for the phablet. The official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is now available for the device.

The changelog posted on T-Mobile's support page for its variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 revealed that the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update with build number N900TUVUNDNF4 has been available since July 31. But because it is an Over-The-Air or OTA update, it may take a while for the firmware to reach all the regions.

An automatic over-the-air notification should arrive once the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update becomes available in various regions. But for those who are really interested to get install the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 T-Mobile can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > General > About Device > Software Update, as noted on GSM Arena.

Furthermore, those who will install Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 T-Mobile can expect network improvements on the phablet. Also, the new firmware brings n Voice Over LTE service or the VoLTE to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 T-Mobile, according to International Business Times report.

Meanwhile, if updating from N900TUVUDNF1, the file size of the firmware update is 188 MB.

Before proceeding to install Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users also need to make sure that the phablet has 50 percent battery level.
