In a letter on the Dragon Age website, executive producer Mark Darrah explained: "Since we began working on Dragon Age: Inquisition almost four years ago, our goal was to create the best Dragon Age experience ever.

"I'm privileged to be a part of a team that has been working very hard to surpass every measure they've set for themselves.

"That has meant completing huge amounts of game content, fixing bugs both big and small, and improving the overall experience.

"This last bit of time is about polishing the experience we want you to see.

"Ensuring that our open spaces are as engaging as possible. Strengthening the emotional impact of the Hero's choices.

"And ensuring the experience you get is the best it can be in the platform you choose to play on."

Darrah ended by thanking fans for their "patience and support."

There's is also brand new preview of "Dragon Age Inquisition" in the September edition of PC Gamer UK, with plenty of new details about the game.

Here's what's new regarding the gameplay. There's will be a new substance called Red Lyrium, with anti-magic properties. It functions the opposite of common Lyrium. Tactics are making a return to the game, with automated AI settings available to the player to map out according to their playstyle. You can for example set how much manage a mage companion can keep in reserve and at which health threshold you would like a companion to use a health potion. After clearing parts of a map, you can set up camps in that area that give you access to scouts and you gain resources to spend on operations. Certain parts of the map will be locked until you can clear others. Finally, you can mark certain areas as operation points on the map so that you can deal with them when you return to your base of operations, Skyhol
