Andy Samberg Lonely Island Videos To Become Movie: 'Saturday Night Live' Actors Reunite To Make Full-Length Judd Apatow Produced Film! Will 'D**k In A Box' Collaborator Justin Timberlake Appear?

"Brooklyn 99" star Andy Samberg's hilarious crew from "Saturday Night Live," the Lonely Island, is officially teaming up with Judd Apatow to produce a feature film!

Whether you know them from "D**k in a Box," "Mother Lover," "Jizz in My Pants," "Lazy Sunday," or "I'm On A Boat," the boys have continued to churn out comedic hits for almost a decade!

And they certainly love their collaborations too. Andy Samberg's friend Justin Timberlake can be seen in various Lonely Island videos, which begs the question as to whether he may make a cameo appearance in this project? How about T-Pain, Michael Bolton, Lady Gaga, and Adam Levine? Looks like we'll have to wait and see!

According to Variety, the comedic rap group's untitled film project has been secured by Universal. The plot is yet to be revealed, but will take place in the music world according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Lonely Island, comprised of Golden Globe Winner for Best Actor in a Television Series (Comedy or Musical) Andy Samberg, as well as counterparts Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, has been producing hilarious hit songs on and off Saturday Night Live since 2005. While the entire has left the NBC show in recent years, this reunion is sure to have fans shrieking!

The "Saturday Night Live" alumni have already released three albums, 2009's "Incredibad," 2011's "Turtleneck and Chain," and 2013's "The Wack Album." This new movie is sure to produce yet another record, with a soundtrack hopefully in store for us with the film release!

The team will star and produce the untitled movie project along with co-producer Judd Apatow of "Knocked Up" and "40-Year-Old Virgin" fame. According to EW, "Schaffer and Taccone will co-direct. Both have experience behind the camera, as Schaffer helmed 'Hot Rod' and 'The Watch' and Taccone directed 'MacGruber,' some episodes of 'Parks and Recreation,' and Samberg's 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine.'"

Do you think your favorite collaborators will make cameos in the film? Chances are, considering the setting of the film, they will! The more star power, the better chances the movie will do! Besides, who wouldn't want to see Justin Timberlake back with the boys?

Who's already excited for the soundtrack? Sound off in the comments below!
