iOS 9 Release Date Already Set? Apple Planning To Reveal New OS On June 8 At WWDC 2015? ‘Corporate Event’ Booked At Moscone Center

News about the iOS 9 release date are already emerging even though the iOS 8 has not been released yet.

According to a report on Gotta Be Mobile, the iOS 9 release date may already set for June 2014. It seems that Apple is planning ahead for the public reveal for the iOS 9 as apparently, the Cupertino-based tech firm has already booked a date for its annual WorldWide Developer Conference.

Based on the screenshot of the Moscone Center webpage provided by Gotta Be Mobile, it shows that a "corporate event" will take place from June 8 - June 12, 2015, (apparently, the event has been removed on the site now), which is speculated to be the WWDC 2015.

The post on Gotta Be Mobile reads, "Considering that is the time of year when Apple hosts its annual WWDC developers conference, it makes sense that this "corporate event" is actually WWDC 2015."

The post also noted that Apple regularly used Moscone Center for its large events, making it more likely for the WWDC 2015 to take place on June 8-15 at the said location.

And based on Apple's release history, the iOS 9 release date to the public might happen during the company's keynote that might be set for June 8.

However, since there is no official word yet from Apple about the iOS 9 release date, tech fans are expected to take the rumors with a grain of salt.

As for the upcoming iOS version, the iOS 8 is expected to arrive this fall 2014. The iOS 8 is currently in beta stage but reports suggest that the testing cycle for the firmware is about to end. The iOS 8 beta 5 was released last Monday and according to report, one more test version for iOS 8 is expected and after several weeks, the iOS 8 GM or Gold Master version will be released.
