"Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date rumors continue to surface online.

Previous reports about "Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date rumors suggested that the highly-anticipated anime is set to comeback on July 2015. However, the report on Latin Times said that this alleged "Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date "was a big fat hoax."

Furthermore, according to the report, Attack On Titan Season 2's possible earliest release date is on August 2015.

Though fans will have to wait for more release details on Attack On Titan Season 2, another great AOT news is available, a Levi spin-off is confirmed!

The Crunchyroll post confirmed that the Attack On Titan spin-off anime for the mangas is arriving. Volume 15 and 16 of the mangas will be available on December 9, 2014 and April 2015 respectively. Furthermore, "Attack on Titan: No Regrets" in the form of two new original DVDs will arrive alongside the launch of the AOT spin-off manga.

The FandomPost.com reported that Attack on Titan: No Regrets are "being done as limited edition DVD only releases of the story which is currently being released in North America by Kodansha Comics."

Voice actors that are part of the main series, together with the creative team of the original animation  will be part of the spin-off. Hiroshi Kamiya and Daisuke Ono will be voicing Levi and Erwin, respectively for the Attack On Titan: No Regrets.

Describing the spin-off, the report on Anime News Network website reads:

"This prequel to megahit Attack On Titan answers the questions: How did Captain Levi of the Survey Corps go from street tough to humanity's strongest soldier? And how did Commander Erwin become a cold, calculating leader, ready to sacrifice anything to save the human race? The fires that forged this bond of loyalty and trust were intense indeed!"
