Upcoming LG Phones 2014: New LG Phablet Only Costs $355 On AT&T, Boasts 5.7" Display, 1.5GB RAM, 8MP Shooter With Laser Focus

A few days ago, one of the upcoming LG phones for 2014, the LG G Vista has been announced by Verizon. It appears that the phablet is also arriving to AT&T stores in the US, and it sure comes with an affordable price tag.

At only $354.99 off-contract or $49.99 with a two-contract, you can already get your hands on this midrange phablet that would surely provide all of the basic things you need from an Android phone, and even more.

Interested subscribers can also get the phone through AT&T's Next Installment where they can get it for free and pay $17.75 for 20 months, or $14.80 for the next 20 months.

Now that you know that you can certainly afford the LG G Vista, the question now is whether you would want the smartphone as your new device considering the staggering number of options available in the market right now.

In terms of specs, the LG G Vista impresses in some aspects primarily in the screen category. The LG handset is even bigger than the already huge 5.5-inch G3, and its 5.7-inch display packs a respectable HD (1280 x 720) resolution.

On the processor side, the LG phablet is expected to come with the same Snapdragon 400 chipset as the other G Vista in Verizon, a quad-core CPU running at 1.2GHz, a 1.5GB RAM which is certainly enough for most basic multi-tasking chores, and an 8GB of internal storage with an option for expansion through the microSD card slot.

Powering the device is a 3,200mAh battery which should be enough for the device to last an entire day, and Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.

At only $355 off-contract, the G Vista is absolutely a great deal for people who want to get the G3 but can't afford the steep price tag. The only trade-offs from the flagship are the lower screen resolution, slightly lower RAM and 5MP lower camera resolution at the back.

It looks like LG is following the footsteps of Xiaomi in terms of releasing handsets with cheaper price tags. While the specs are not as high-end as the ones announced by the Chinese brand, LG has its reputation and world-class quality as advantages.
