Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: The Selfie Phone 'Superman' Gets Detailed Specs, Packs Dual-SIM Support, 4.7" Display, 1GB RAM, 8MP/5MP Primary And Secondary Cameras

One of the upcoming Nokia phones for 2014 has been pegged as a selfie-focused handset, following the promotion campaign of the Sony Xperia C3.

Dubbed as the 'Superman', the Nokia Lumia 730 is an upcoming smartphone which has recently been leaked in a number of images which tell us at least two color options, green and orange.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Windows Phone powered smartphone's specs have been leaked online, and tell us that the Lumia 730 is a midranger with a specialty - its 5MP secondary camera.

While 5MP front shooters are exactly not new in this industry, getting it from a Nokia midranger is a first, and is worth noting. A couple of weeks ago, the Xperia C3 from Sony was also announced, and it is also the first time the manufacturer included a 5MP camera packed with an LED flash.

So what's different about this 'selfie' phone from Nokia?

For one, the Lumia 730 will certainly perform better than the Xperia C3 even with almost identical internals, that's mainly due to the operating system.

The Windows Phone-powered handset packs a decent 4.7-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, a quad-core CPU running at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and an 8GB built-in storage.

Also on board the device is an 8MP primary camera at the back, so the front shooter is not the only sensor that cant take decent shots. The phone runs on a 2,000mAh battery and the latest Windows Phone 8.1, with Update 1 to keep things even more interesting.

Unfortunately, there are no official reports yet when it comes to pricing and availability. Though as the IFA closes in, it could be the first time Nokia and Microsoft would actually use the event for the launch of its new devices.

We'll bring you more details or leaks in the coming days.
