‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Spoilers: Ms Marvel Cameo Appearance In The Sequel Confirmed In The Script! Is This The Real Reason For Reshoots?

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" has wrapped filming. The cast is already set and we know all of the characters that will appear in the sequel after more than a year of spoilers and cast rumors.

Not so fast. On the heels of the innocent sounding reshoots, a movie website claims that there is stull a cameo that we might be missing.

In an article that tackled the controversial issue of female characters in a full feature movie, Badass Digest boldly declared what he claimed as "fact:"

"I have information about multiple drafts of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', and all feature a cameo by a character the script calls Ms. Marvel (nothing else, including civilian name or basic look, is specified). It's a cameo, so it could change at any time, but the character is planned for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is a fact. Is Feige really waiting to announce a Captain/Ms. Marvel movie until this cameo is seen?"

Most of the actresses and the female characters have been identified. Also, there are heavy rumors that Ms. Marvel, not Black Widow might be the Marvel Studios choice of the first female to star in her own movie owing to the fact that:

"I'll say again what I've said before: I have been told that giving Johansson a lead in a movie would trigger a renegotiation of her contract, which skinflint Marvel would prefer to not do." - Devin Faraci of Badass Digest.

Besides, Kevin Feige has remarked at Hollywood.com:

"(When asked)'Are you're doing a Black Widow movie?' And part of me wanted to say, 'Well, we did, and it's called Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Wait until you see it!' The emphasis we put on our characters, and in particular our female leads in all our movies, is very important to us. And showcase extremely strong, intelligent woman that control the course of the entire movie and the entire plot, and that absolutely carries over into Scarlett's role in Age of Ultron."

The statement insinuates that her exposure in the Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron is pretty much as good as it gets for Natasha Romanoff.

Which means there should be a new female character to take the lead, and Marvel should do well to introduce her before Warner's Wonder Woman! "Age of Ultron" is the perfect launching pad!
