Today, a slew of Pokemon news have arrived for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and X and Y.

At the 2014 Gamescom, Junichi Masuda introduced a special video featuring the already leaked Mega Audino for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It has the Healer ability as well as increased Defense and Special Defense. In the trailer, it also shows that it has the move Misty Terrain.

"Well, so much for new Megas being revealed today," commented MenacingCascoon on PokeJungle. "But I can't complain, just imagine how it was for Masuda. He knew at least 95% of the people there saw it already, it must have been painfully awkward for him."

In addition to Mega Audino, Mega Slowbro was also leaked earlier. Reportedly, Mega Slowbro remains a Water/Psychic dual-type, but gains the Shell Armor ability. It will also have boosted Defense and Special Attack. 

Meanwhile, a new Pokemon X and Y battle competition has been announced, this time including the newest legendary Pokemon Diancie.

According to Serebii, the battle competition is called Diamond Storm and is only announced for Japan. It requires participants to only use Pokemon that are in the Kalos Pokedex, and you must have Diancie in your team. However, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Mewtwo cannot participate. All Pokemon are lowered to Level 50.

Registration will run from September 12 until September 15, and participants will receive 1000 PokeMiles as a present for joining this Battle Competition.
