PBS has released photos for "Downton Abbey" season 5 with its cast dressed in period pieces, but one press photo caused a stir and went viral because of an error.

The portrait of Hugh Bonneville, who plays Robert Crawley and Laura Carmichael, who portrays Lady Edith, showed a water bottle in the background according to Entertainment News.

Two photos of "Downton Abbey" season 5 were posted on the show's official Instagram page to announce the new actors joining the program. One read: "The children of #DowntonAbbey are growing up. It seems like only yesterday that they were just babies!"

Sybil, the daughter of the late Sybil Crawley and Tom Branson will be played by four-year-old Fifi Hart, and Lady Mary and the late Matthew Crawley's son George will be played by three-year-old twins Zac and Oliver Barker.

Other photos also showcased an addition to the cast's latest season, Richard E. Grant as Simon Bricker, and some of the show's returning characters.

Apart from the photos, ITV production "Downton Abbey" season 5 has also released a video trailer.

According to a review by Forbes, viewers can expect that "indeed 'Downton Abbey' is finally - inasmuch as this potboiling manor ever can be - back to normal."

"Before the episode started, Steve November, who is ITV's director of drama commissioning, gave a few remarks. He said that we would see 'surprising stories' in this new series, and as far as Downton's great set-pieces go, 'some of the best we've ever seen,'" the review added.

Something that fans can also expect is the change in Lady Mary's character. Michelle Dockery, the actress who plays the character of Lady Mary, said "She's very much out of mourning by series five. For me, it's like a new Mary. She's got her spirti back... she's got her bite back."

In the latest season of "Downton Abbey," fans will be happy to learn that Lady Mary "is giving herself time romantically with Gilliam and Blake. She's still not making any quick decisions."

"Downton Abbey" returns on screens in the US on January 4.
