Kendall Jenner demanded a public apology from waitress Blaine Morris, and threatened to sue the budding actress for defamation for the dine-and-dash allegation.

Legal counsels of the 18-year-old Kendall Jenner demanded an apology from the waitress after sending a cease and desist notice to Blaine Morris, demanding an "appropriate retraction and sincere apology," reported Entertainment News.

Morris tweeted "That horrible moment you chase a Kardashian down the street because she forgot to pay her bill to be thrown money in your face," on August 5 but was later deleted.

The said tweet was allegedly the basis of a New York Post story published on August 10, stating that Kendall Jenner and Stephen Baldwin's daughter Hailey dined at Mercer Kitchen in New York and left unhappy when "the staff wouldn't serve her [booze] because she's underage."

Representatives for Baldwin have denied the allegation, telling The Post that "They thought everything was paid for."

Kendall Jenner took to her personal Twitter account to deny the dine-and-dash incident saying, "These rumors r absolutely ridiculous! I would never throw money in anyone's face or act that disrespectfully. I was raised better than that." The reality TV star added, "Said it once and I'll say it again, don't believe everything you read!"

The model's lawyer Martin Singer said that Kendall Jenner demanded apology from the waitress because she was the source of the "false and fabricated statements" used by the New York Post. The lawyer called her statements "completely false, fabricated and defamatory."

In a statement sent to TMZ, Singer said that "the waitress did come up to her outside but Jenner was 'extremely apologetic' and gladly paid what she owed - $33, plus a $7 tip... which she 'politely handed' to her."

"Although you are working as a waitress... I understand that you are also a struggling actress whose credits include a handful of television appearances," Singer added. "You no doubt concocted a fictionalized account of your encounter with my client in order to create publicity for yourself and raise your own public profile."
