Girls' Generation's songs have been chosen by international fans for most done "dance covers."

On July 10, the Korea Year Committee gathered up the data from the videos sent by the contestants from the "2012 K-Pop Cover Dance Festival." It showed that Girls' Generation dance covers were number one with 155 covers.

Videos were submitted from over 50 different countries with a total of 1,350 teams. Behind Girls' Generation were SHINee with 98 covers, miss A with 79, SISTAR with 75 and 2NE1 with 70.

When categorized by region, Girls' Generation was the most popular among Asia and Europe, SHINee in the U.S., TVXQ in Australia and New Zealand and Block B in Africa.

Teams who passed the online round will be able to go on to the second round which will be held in many different countries. 

The winning teams from the different countries will be flown to Korea for the final round.
