'Far Cry 4' Release Date, Gameplay, Price, And New Trailer From Gamescon Set It Himalayan Region Of Kyrat: New Footage Showing Dream Scape Shangri-La Missions [VIDEO]

"Far Cry 4" has a new trailer released at Gamescon. "Far Cry 4" has a release date of November 18.

"Far Cry 4," the latest of Ubisoft's most recent iteration of the series, takes place in the Himalayan region of Kyrat, where an insane dictator named Pagan Min rules mercilessly. You play Ajay Ghale, a prodigal son, returning to free his homeland.

The structure is similar to its"Far Cry" predecessors: there is a big highly detailed environment to filled with indigenous creatures and gun-toting maniacs. There are enemy camps to raid, there are sub-quests and side-missions; there is a story to fulfil. But everything is bigger and brighter and more detailed.

One of the Shangri-Là missions was also shown, which are kind of mystical quests in a kind of dream world. Here, vast temples are protected by magical warriors, who'll sprint toward you then teleport. You can even call on a spirit tiger who'll attack enemies for you. Ubisoft even sent a design team to Nepal to research the local mythology.

PlayStation 4 owners of Far Cry 4 will be able to invite up to ten PlayStation Network players to join them in coop missions, regardless of whether or not they own the game.The platform-exclusive offer allows pals to "explore together," for up to two hours each. Players can "capture outposts and create you own stories," according to a trailer

"Far Cry 4" has a release date on November 18 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. It will cost 59.99$. Check back often for more information as we get closer to the release date.
