Jeremy Lin News: 'Linsanity' Star Admits That He Is Not Humble, Will He Prove His Doubters Wrong?

Since being a worldwide sensation back in 2012 during his stellar campaign with the New York Knicks in what was dubbed as Linsanity, young point guard Jeremy Lin has been very vocal about his Christian faith and how he sees everything as God's plan in his life.

However, Lin still has his fair share of bad habits.

According to a report by Christian Post, Lin answered a question on his Facebook account saying that he sometimes find it difficult to be humble. Humility is a strong quality that is important in the Christian faith so defeinitely at some point, Lin is at fault here.

But on the other hand, the Harvard standout was brave and honest enough to admit his weakness, thus making it his strength. Now that he has acknowledged his bursts of being proud of his talent, he may find a way to completely avoid it in the future.

As for his stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, it is considered as an important part of his career, one that would dictate whether or not he is a bonafide All Star or just a one-time sensation that will solely become a source of inspiration to aspiring NBA players.

Since he last played with the Knicks, this could be the team that would utilize his skills the most. With a formidable front court waiting to be spotted for open looks under the basket, and talented swingmen who can dominate offensively, and Kobe Bryant as a partner in the backcourt, Lin will have his hands full.

Spotting open team mates is just one part of his overall play with the Lakers. Lin will also need to work with his defense, as well as his shot-creating skills in order to become a real threat when handling the ball. Once he establishes that he is again the dreaded pick-and-roll maestro during his Knicks stint, then defenses will have a difficult time containing him, and the entire Laker squad.
