Taylor Swift, considered "the headliner on the red carpet" by Hollywood Life, appeared in a glamorous outfit during premier of "The Giver" on August 11 at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City. She appears with co-stars Meryl Streep, Katie Holmes and Jeff Bridges among others in promoting this dystopian, semi-Orwell novel-turned-film originally written by Lois Lowry.

The 24-year old popstar is donned with a gorgeous cream deconstructed skirt from the Monique Lhuillier Resort 2015 collection. The crimson look made Swift's crimson top standout and the soft, youthful glow on her face noticeable. With the outfit is her nude suede Casadei pumps.

She later posed with Katie Holmes and Odeya Rush, both look great and has followed the red-and-blush theme.

Meanwhile, Katie Holmes beautifully glows in her girly light pink Zac Posen dress that highlighted the 35-year old actress' subdued makeup and smoky eyes crafted by Genevieve Herr who proudly posts Katie's photo in her Instagram with caption, "With Katie Holmes tonight for the New York premiere of "The Giver" makeup by me, hair by @sebastianscolarici, #thegiver, #smokeyeyes, #redcarpet, #gorgeous, #premier, #katieholmes."

Odeya Rush's gorgeous braids and cat's eye are also eye-catching scenes in "The Giver Premiere". Earlier interviews revealed Swift's fascination to the book saying that its huge influence on her philosophy. "It celebrates all the things I hold really dear and are important to me, like our history, our music, our art, our intellect and our memories."

The Red singer plays Rosemary who has a brief appearance in the film as a flashback in The Giver's younger version as somebody who plays the piano for him. A video clip of Swift's segment is very widespread online before the movie's premiere.

"Taylor's role in the movie is much the same in the book, except in the book she's only remembered ... and in the movie you can see the memory of her. She appears in, I don't know the technical term would be, but you can see her. And it's very compelling." The 77-year old Lois Lowry said.
