Hull City defeated QPR 1-0 in the opening weekend of the English Premier League 2014-2015 season, earning a sixth place ranking in the tournament's standings.

The team is expected to face off against Stoke City on August 25.

"I have said before that the second season is the most difficult," Hull City coach Steve Bruce said during a recent press conference.

"We have never been past two seasons before (in the top flight) so that is the big challenge for the club. We have to make sure we stay up. We have that challenge of Europe this time, too. And the way forward with that is how we did it last week by changing the whole team."
