Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka break-up and split rumours have been swirling around for months now. Neil has only been spotted leaving the couple's NYC brownstone on a handful of occasions since relocating back east for his run on Broadway.

According to The National Enquirer, Neil Patrick Harris and longtime partner David Burtka, who share a 3-year-old twins Harper and Gideon have called it a break, but not only taking a break because they both have been spotted flirting with others.

Sources say that while David Burtka comes as a loving Mr. Mom type who has no problems leaving his twins with the nanny. While Neil Patrick Harris has settled into a routine of going to a Japanese restaurant after the show and going to the bars later. David Burtka on the other hand, can be found at a local gay clubs looking for men like he did before getting together with Neil.

Since both men are asserted as seeking the company of others, it is safe to say that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka break-up at least for now.

Recently, Neil posted a photo in his Instagram account of David and the twin, who are all smiling.

"I couldn't be more in love with my family," Harris wrote. "Any reports to the contrary are woefully mistaken. #grateful."

However, Neil Patrick Harris and David break-up rumour are not yet confirmed since the two couple remain silence about the issue.

The two have been engaged for about 8 years, in February 2013 they were subject of rumours that asserted they had ended their engagement which Neil debunked.
