Tamara Ecclestone, Bernie Ecclestone’s Daughter, Won't Be Turning Down Bernie's Fortune; 'Why Shouldn't I Inherit Daddy's Billions?'

Tamara Ecclestone, one of the socialite daughters of the billionaire Formula 1 chief Bernie Ecclestone, won't be turning down her father's fortune. Tamara Ecclestone and Petra Ecclestone come from a family with an estimated worth of £3 billion.

Tamara Ecclestone's billionaire dad runs Formula 1. Former car salesman Bernie Ecclestone worked his way up to top positions of Chief Executive Officer at both Formula One Administration and Formula One Management.

Tamara Ecclestone has been thinking about all that money she's due to inherit. Her dad is estimated to be worth about £2.5 billion but nowadays the super wealthy don't necessarily pass their fortunes on to their children.

Rock idol and Police founder Sting, 62, says his six children won't inherit the majority of his £180 million fortune. He was recently quoted as saying "I told them there won't be much money left because we're spending it... I certainly don't want to leave them trust funds that are albatrosses round their necks. They have to work."

Tamara believes that her father's money should be passed to her if only so she can pass her own fortune down to her own children. When asked about Sting's arrangement, Tamara said "I just think that's so strange."

"Everything I do is for my family and the future. What's the point otherwise? Why wouldn't you want to do that and leave them it? As long as you bring them up right and raise them to know the value of money, then why wouldn't you? If you raise them in a way where you can trust them and respect them then it should go to them. My dad has always said everything he's done, and everything he went without as a child, has been for us. He wanted us to have an easier life than he did," Tamara told Mail Online.
