Aquos Crystal Phone: A Bezel-Free Smartphone, With A Bigger 5.5-inch Display Version Called The Crystal X? Find Out Here!

The new Aquos Crystal phone could give the Sharp's company a big edge to other competitors.

The latest Aquos Crystal phone is the first with a display that really does run right up to the left or right hand side of the phone.

Sharp has managed to do away with the bezel-the boarder that runs around the screen and houses its sensors and illumination, this feature can offer a bigger screens compare to other small phones.

The Aquos Crystal phone measures 131mm (5 in) by 67mm (2.6 in) and offers a 5-inch display. Compared to iPhone 4S that has a 3.5-inch display with its handset measures of 115.2mm (4.5 in) by 58.6mm (2.31 in) and that is because of the average, 30% of a phone's face is actually the bezel.

 On Sharp, its handset of the phone is a little over 1cm taller and wider that boasts a display that is quite verging on phablet territory.

Moreover, what makes the Aquos Crystal phone really special is that it will be launching in the US and will comes with a bigger 5.5-inch display version called the Crystal X.

According to the AFP Relax News, the said device will expected to be officially unveiled on August 19. The 5-inch model will comes in a Quad-Core 1.2GHz CPU and the 5.5-inch version is at 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 chip.

Both device with different model size will boast the latest version of Android, audio technology courtesy of Harmon Kardon in a 720p HD display.
