Moto 360 Watch Price, Release Date: $249.99 Maybe the Official Tag Of Android Wear Smartwatch Leak Suggests; Sept. 4 Unveiling In Chicago Expected

Moto 360 Watch price, release date: The $249.99 price of the Moto 360 Watch, one of the most highly anticipated Android Wear devices this year, was leaked by a Best Buy listing. The Best Buy page also showed initial specs of the wearable which is expected to be unveiled on September 4 in Chicago.

According to Droid Life, the product page for the Android Wear smartwatch has mistakenly gone live on Best Buy’s mobile site.

The $249.99 price however for the smartwatch was nothing new. A fine print on the rules of a Motorola contest values the smartwatch’s approximate retail price for the same amount.

If in case the $249.99 retail price of the Moto 360 Watch is true, this makes it more expensive than the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live. The LG wearable is priced at $229 while the Gear Live is selling for $199.99. The Moto 360 appears to be quite a bit more attractive from a design stand point, The Verge suggests, for the extra cash. The circular display is well-suited for a watch.

Other specs revealed by the Best Buy page listing include for the Moto 360 Watch include it’s display, which will be an LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 920 and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The device will also be water resistant and have an optical heart rate monitor and a built-in pedometer.

Though speculations suggest the September 4 release date for the watch, the product page does not offer a release date and only notes that it’s “coming soon.” Google previously noted that it’s coming this summer.

Product pages like these, no matter how authentic, does not guarantee the actual pricing. Last minute changes by the manufacturer and could alter it and history suggest that these accidentally made live webpages have been wrong in the past.
