‘Breaking Bad’ Stars Bryan Cranston And Aaron Paul Make Hilarious Ad, Increases Hope For ‘Breaking Bad’ Continuation?

Even though the series ended almost a year ago, "Breaking Bad" fans still go crazy for series stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. This week the pair released a humorous ad for the new Audi S3 (proud sponsors of this years Emmys) and it has left fans hoping for a return of the series.

According to Adweek, "Cranston and Paul once again play colleagues in a sketchy trade, though this time, instead of cooking blue meth, they're running a pawn shop together." Julia Louis-Dreyfus also stars in the ad, her role hilariously consisting of trying to pawn her own Emmy award to pay for the private island she just purchased.

Needless to say, "Breaking Bad" fans were definitely happy to see the pair back on screen together. Since "Breaking Bad" both of the actors ventured into film with Aaron Paul starring in "Need For Speed" and Bryan Cranston taking a main role in the summer blockbuster reboot of "Godzilla."

But could this commercial be the start of something in the future for them?

Both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have expressed nostalgia for their respective roles on the Emmy award winning TV show. In fact, a few months back the Internet exploded from a statement by Bryan Cranston on CNN (as reported by Gawker) that, "Hey you never saw bags zip up or anything, or anybody say... you know." And with "Better Call Saul" coming to AMC next year, it certainly seems like some kind of prospective show with the two actors would definitely help AMC ratings.

As the cast of "Breaking Bad" heads into next week's Emmys with both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul nominated for awards, one can only hope that the overwhelming fandom for the series and the pair will at least inspire some ideas for a new show. Even if it's not a continuation of "Breaking Bad" perhaps fans can hope for an appearance on upcoming spinoff, "Better Call Saul."
