According to Express UK, Lewis Hamilton did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge after his first practice session in Belgium this morning, ahead of this weekend's Formula One race

In the 20 second video, Lewis Hamilton steps out of his car wearing his racing gear and walks towards the camera as three men drench him with large buckets of ice water.

Lewis Hamilton barely flinches and even smiles at the camera before walking off.

According to reports, Lewis nominated Will Smith, Tom Cruise and Naomi Campbell to take on the challenge.

Lewis followed in the footsteps of his girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, who wore a lot less clothing in her ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video. Flashing her toned abs in a bikini and tropical shorts, the former "X Factor" judge says to the camera: "Thank you Becky Lockett, I accept the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. And I'd like to nominate The Dream and Tricky Stewart and Kiesza. Let's do this," before getting pelted with ice water.

As we previously reported, Nicole and Lewis were invited to the White House and met President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, thanks to Nicole's role as the global ambassador for the Special Olympics.

"I had the pleasure to go to the White House & meet the president of the United States & 1st lady thanks to my lady @nicolescherzy, thank you :)," he wrote on his Instagram at the time.

Lewis and Scherzinger have been dating on-and-off for six years.
