The Huawei Ascend P7 was awarded by European Imaging and Sound Association or EISA on August 26 as the European Consumer Smartphone 2014-2015.

According to the article of Colombo Gazette, the Huawei Ascend P7 commented by EISA for its unique and beautiful glass finish available in black or white color with an attractive price.

Moreover, the EISA also highlighted the camera, allowing a high resolution to take pictures. The primary camera has a 13 MP while the secondary camera has an 8 MP, which is a good take for selfie.

"We are thrilled to be presented with this award, and see it as firm evidence that we are challenging existing industry standards by redefining smartphone design, camera experience, and connectivity," said Shao Yang, Vice President of Marketing, Huawei Consumer Business Group in the article of Colombo Gazette.

"We have even more surprises up our sleeves for IFA 2014 as we work to Make it Possible for more people around the world to enjoy great technology," Yang added.

Furthermore, the Huawei Ascend P7 comes with a quad core processor with a 2 GB of RAM, and its operating systems is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean combine with Emotion 2.3 user interface.

The Huawei Ascend P7 is currently available through the country's largest retail network Singer, including Singer Mega, Singer Plus and SISIL World stores comprising about 400 retail outlets, according to Colombo Gazette.
