The young adult drama film opened in the US theaters last week but it failed to take the top spot in the weekend box office. The Warner Bros. film reportedly earned $16.4 million, making it the top 3 highest-earning film in the US last weekend.

According to the list on Huffington Post report, "Guardians of the Galaxy" took the first place with $17.6 million domestic box office ticket sales. Other movies included in the top 5 last weekend were "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" ($16.8 million), "Let's Be Cops" ($11 million) and "When The Game Stands Tall ($9.1 million).

Meanwhile, for those who want to watch "If I Stay" full movie, the New Line Cinema film will premiere in more parts of the world this week. According to a post on IMDB, "If I Stay" will open in Australia this August 28.

Aside from those in Australia, moviegoers in New Zealand, Portugal, Chile, Kazakhstan, Russia , Uruguay, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Slovenia will also be able to watch "If I Stay" full movie in theaters as it premieres on the said countries on Thursday. ]
