Price of the Nexus X is expected to be around $550.

The contiuous flow of news regarding an upcoming Google flagship is in conflict with reports that suggest that Google maybe discontinuing the Nexus line this year.

PC Advisor U.K. notes (via Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin and The Information) that there have been reports noting that the Nexus line will be discontinued in favor of being replaced by Android Silver.

The U.K. publication wrote that Android Silver devices will be premium ones with top-end hardware and great build quality. These units may also come with the latest version of Android, similar to what Google Play Edition devices have.

Android Silver would not be brand in itself but a standard that Google will outline for a premium Android handset.
