While Samsung Company has been yet to officially release the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone, a Malaysian retailer has already started advertising the device.

According to the article in the Geeky Gadgets, Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is already in Malaysia for about RM1, 299 which is almost equivalent to $410, also an instalment plan for 24 months is already available.

In the article of NDTV Gadgets, a Malaysian news website Soyacincau on Sunday first seen the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone online by an authorized retailer SenHeng who was advertising the device as part of its Maybank credit card promotional scheme.

According to the website Senheng, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone runs in Android 4.4 KitKat, and features a 6-inch HD TFT (720x1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad Core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM.

Moreover, the said device has a built-in storage of 8GB with a MicroSD card slot. In terms of its camera, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has an 8 megapixel rear camera.

Furthermore, according to the article of NDTV Gadgets, some of the rumors regarding its specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 include a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, a 2800mAh battery, 163.6x84.9x8.6mm dimensions, LTE Cat.4 connectivity with VoLTE support and FM radio connectivity.
