Kevin Love Presented By Cleveland Cavaliers; All-Star Forward Tells Minnesota Timberwolves Owner To 'Focus On His Own Team!'

Kevin Love has already been officially presented as a Cleveland Cavalier. But it's not that simple for Minnesota. Love reacts to some 'disparaging remarks' by his former team owner Glen Taylor.

ESPN transcribed what Love told the "Mike & Mike" radio show:

"I think emotions are definitely running high right now. For Glen to say that, I just think that he should be focusing on the players that he just received. I mean, he has two of the No. 1 picks in the last two drafts: Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett. He has another guy who can really play in Thaddeus Young."

That's probably the most diplomatic way to say 'Mind your own business!'

Love has a point though, as it's the Timberwolves who are projected to struggle to make the playoffs. But then again, that has always been the case.

"I think he got a lot for me. So I'd be focusing even more on that. More than anything, I'm just excited to start my time in Cleveland, get to work with my new teammates, and start with this new family here."

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was quick to sympathize with his fellow team owner who spoke with "The Herd" radio show:

"We're competitive too. I would compare my competitive nature to any athlete in the world. Business is a sport where you can be 24 by 7 by 365.

"... You try to hold back some time and take the high road. Sometimes you do. And sometimes it slips."

On a lighter note, Kevin Love revealed that LeBron James actually did not waste any time to recruit him:

"LeBron signed to come back, and a few hours later he called me and I said 'I'm in.' That had a lot to do with my decision. It means a lot to be a part of this organization. ... Everything in my entire life for the last six years had led me up to this opportunity."

There will be a team scorned, and there is always a bitter taste that remains.
