Brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" has been rewarded for their excellent work in the movie by being locked in for the Captain America 3. They have been on a teasing spree, and after hinting at a possible crossover, they now talk about introducing new characters.

They talked to Movies.com about the possibilities in the new movie.

Anthony Russo told Movies.com.

"We just got another incredible draft from the writers and are very excited about the film. I can't divulge who is going to be in the film, but I think the fans are going to freak out when they hear about it."

There was also the development of Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier character, the co-director said:

 "The relationship between Cap and the Winter Soldier was never resolved at the end of the last movie. Thinking about where that relationship can go is a piece of the puzzle for us for sure. That character is a wonderfully, beautifully tragic figure in the sense of is he the world's most feared assassin or is he the world's longest serving POW. Is he innocent by reason of insanity or the equivalent of it because he's been mind controlled or is he irredeemable? Is he ever going to be acceptable to Cap again as the friend that he used to be before he was the Winter Soldier? These are very philosophical, emotional questions that pique our interest and definitely form one layer of the next movie."

There was already speculation that the movies will not follow the recent direction in the comics where Falcon became Captain America. Marvel seems to tread on the direction of handing the mantle to the Winter Soldier.

The first statement on "Fans freaking out over new characters" opened all the speculation. The logical choice would be Black Panther-but there was also an Easter Egg reference to Egypt which could mean Moon Knight.

Called it once and I'm calling it again... Black Panther will be in 'CAPTAIN AMERICA 3'. Just my speculation!
