Users of Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini can now install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on their smartphone through the use of a custom ROM.

According to the specs list for Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, as posted on GSM Arena, the official firmware available for the smartphone is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. However, thanks to the geniuses of custom Android ROM, Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini owners can now experience the latest mobile operating system from Google.

Those who are eager to upgrade their smartphone's OS can now install Android 4.4.4 Kitkat update via the latest stable release of Paranoid Android custom ROM.  Particularly, the Paranoid Android ROM based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is compatible only to Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini bearing the model numbers I8190, I8190L and I8190N.

According to a post on International Business Times, the Paranoid Android custom ROM "sports several new changes such as AOSPA sources update, logs clean-up, full ext4 support on the system partition and more."
