iPad Pro Rumors: 12.9" Apple Slate Tipped To Launch Early Next Year? Expected To Start Another Tablet Revolution

Since the year began, there have been a number of iPad Pro rumors going around and it certainly made the mobile industry excited. In fact, it even 'influenced' Samsung to launch its own 12-inch tablet, but that did not turn out well.

By the time the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona ended, the iPad Pro rumors have already been flowing and claiming that the device would be announced during Apple's event in September, together with the iPhone 6.

Apparently, all those rumors didn't turn out as expected.

According to recent reports, production for the iPad Pro has been postponed indefinitely due to Apple's focus on the upcoming iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.

A new report from Bloomberg claims that the biggest Apple tablet will make its way to the market by January of 2015, which is interestingly the same time this year that the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet was announced.

Some of the rumored specs of the iPad Pro include a 12.9 inch display made out of sapphire, a new design and build, Touch ID home button, iOS 8 and some even claim that it will be water resistant.

There are other speculations which claim that the iPad Pro will be a tablet-laptop hybrid that will fall in between the 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch MacBook Airs.

While all of these rumors are certainly interesting, we can't be sure unless the report officially comes from Apple. However, one thing is for sure, the upcoming iPad Pro will surely be one of the most awaited devices to launch next year.

And because of the anticipation it is creating, it will not be surprising if Samsung launches another contender.
