'One Piece Pirate Warriors 3' Announced! Will Be Released On Playstation Platforms, More Info At Tokyo Game Show 2014

"One Piece" fans rejoice as a release date for "One Piece Pirate Warriors 3" was finally announced. The game will be released on multiple Playstation platforms including the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. Additionally, fans can look to even more information about the game to premiere at the 2014 Tokyo Game Show.

According to Anime News Network, "this year's 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump will announce ‘One Piece Kaizoku Musou' (One Piece Pirate Warriors 3) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita on Monday. The game will allow players to go through the One Piece story with improved graphics."

This is the 3rd installment of the "‘One Piece Pirate Warriors' series developed by Omega Force and published by Bandai Namco," states Explosion. It will be the first "One Piece" title releasing on a new generation console.

Information about gameplay, release dates, characters etc. is scarce at the moment, but "One Piece" fans need only wait for the 2014 Tokyo Game Show in which a special promotional video for the game will be presented. No information about a western release has been confirmed but Explosion speculates there's a good chance the game will come to North America.

Fans of the "One Piece Pirate Warriors" series also speculate that the newest game will come to North America as the previous two did in the past. In general, there is much excitement for it. Or as MysticGon, states, "Yep, next year is going to be good. Dragon Ball, Naruto and now a new One Piece game."

Speaking of the Tokyo Game Show 2014, the theme of the event this year, as reported by Games Industry, is "‘Changing Games: The Transformation of Fun.' The theme implies games created by fusion with network will break ground the new world of game with a renewed vision."

Looks like video game fanatics will have a lot to look forward to at the event in addition to more updates on "One Piece Pirate Warriors 3."
