‘James Bond 24' Movie In The Hunt For An Iconic Henchman! 'Former Sports Athletes' Or 'Anyone Unusual' Are Welcome To Audition

Sony Pictures is actively working on James Bond 24 movie that is reportedly scheduled with a release date on Oct. 23, 2015.

However, veteran James Bond scribes Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are now tapped to rewrite John Logan's script, making fans worry that the film could be delayed.

"Purvis and Wade have been asked to 'punch up' the script and sprinkle in more gags, emphasising the witty repartee between Daniel Craig's 007 and Naomie Harris's Miss Moneypenny, and focusing on the interplay between Bond and Ralph Fiennes's M," according to an article by The Daily Mail.

That being said, the filming schedule has also been delayed pushing the production from October to December, even causing a "polite turmoil" among the crew.

And while the script is still in works, James Bond Radio reported that the casting crew are looking for an iconic henchman in the likes of Oddjob and Jaws.

MI6 confirmed the reports claiming that the casting has already begun and that the team is actively in the hunt for "someone extremely physically fit and over 6' 2"."

The assassin will supposedly have "several altercations with Daniel Craig's 007 throughout the film."

"Former sports athletes will be under consideration along with anyone 'very unusual'," the report added.

Meanwhile, news came in that "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe is interested in a role in the movie. According to an article of The Sun:

"Daniel thinks he would be an excellent villain in the 'Bond' films. He loves the franchise but admires the villains as much as Bond."

"He feels he could appear as a modern bad guy, an evil mastermind who wants to take down MI5. And like the old Bond films, he hopes the role may be recurring."

It's no secret that one of the most sought after character in a movie is becoming a Jame's Bond bad guy. The movie franchise is known to have produced award winning actors following the villain role in the film.

While there are no confirmed news yet on who's to play the villain in the upcoming James Bond 24 movie, it's interesting to see a young star to take on the role.
