Demi Lovato Says I ‘Really Don’t Care’ About Being ‘Thinner’ Or Weight Loss, Singer Is ‘Proud’ Of Curves And Feels ‘Sexier’ Than Ever!

Demi Lovato posted a Facebook photo collage of her red carpet dresses and weight fluctuation over the years, ultimately saying "I Really Don't Care" about being "thinner" or weight loss. In fact, Demi Lovato revealed that she's "proud" of her curves and feels "sexier" than ever before!

"Really Don't Care" singer Demi Lovato posted the photo above on Instagram, with the inspiring caption: "This picture makes me feel so many mixed emotions.. I remember the day I wore the dress in the very first picture. I remember asking for spanx to flatten my stomach because I use to feel so heavy and "fat". Now looking at this picture, you can clearly see my hip bones. It makes me sad because I wasted so many years ashamed of my body when I could've been living the happy and healthy life I live today. It TRULY just goes to show you that your perceptions can lie to you. OR they can make you learn to enjoy life. Fortunately looking at the picture of myself in the red dress yesterday, I not only feel so grateful for the love and support I've had from fans, friends and family, but... I also feel.. beautiful. I'm so excited to live my life the way I deserve to and to the complete fullest. Thank you guys once again.. I'm so thankful for my Lovatics. I love you... And never forget that staying strong is worth it. "

The collage features photos of Demi Lovato's various red carpet dresses from over the years. The first was from 2008 when Lovato, 22, walked the carpet in a Herve Leger bandage dress that showed off her tiny frame, Us Weekly reports.

"The very first time that I ever went to the VMAs, I just looked so bony and fragile and unhappy. Yes, I was at the VMAs, and I was 16 and I was having an incredible time, but at the same time I was miserable," she told Access Hollywood on Thursday, August 28. "I look back at that and I think, 'You know what? I may have been thinner, but I am so happy that I am healthy today and I have curves, which are a lot sexier than what I was aiming for,'" she added. "I think curves are beautiful and I feel great."

"When I was growing up and when I was a pre-teen, the people that I had to look up to [for] body image [were] extremely underweight," Lovato said. "[They] were all very bony at that time and that was the in thing."

"I really credit women like Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. [They] completely revolutionized our generation's view...of what beautiful is," the former "X Factor" judge gushed, Us Weekly reports. "You can think whatever you want about the Kardashians, but they really did help tons of women feel comfortable in their own skin, and I like to carry that message on."

We think Demi Lovato killed it on the red carpet at the MTV VMAs last weekend, flaunting her beautiful curves and fashion sense in a red dress with a plunging neckline. You can see the confidence on her face, and we couldn't be happier for Demi!
