Manchester United will face off against rival Burnley on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Manchester United, coming out of a 1-1 tie with Sunderland, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal said he is preparing to rip up his team's squad, ESPN reports.

"I had a conversation with the players after lunch and I said, after this weekend, we shall maybe have another group.

"Players will go away and others will come in. We have to wait and see [who they are]. Now, I have judged all of the players. After [doing] that, I can take my measures because, of course, we know already in advance what players we want.

Burnley, coming out of a 1-0 loss to Swansea City, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche said Manchester United changes will take time, The Guardian reports.

"I think the word 'crisis' is harsh looking at their players," Dyche said, according to the site.

"They've got some fine players. With tactical formats, I do think the 3-5-2 is the most radical change so it takes time for that to work. The power of Manchester United and the market means he may have ideas and designs over the next few days to get certain players who can do roles he feels that are not being done as well."
