The Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most awaited Android phones in the land, and the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 4 rumors tell us that the device may look a lot different from previous models.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a new video surfaced from Dutsch website Techtastic and allegedly showcased the Note 4. 

Unfortunately, the alleged Samsung phablet was clothed in a dummy box so we cannot see its actual design, and instead what we're seeing is a device that looks as if it were made by Sony. 

Based on the short clip, the device still comes with its S-Pen stylus and still has a button like previous versions. 

Other specs include a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, a 16MP OIS-powered camera at the back, and probably a 3GB RAM. 

The upcoming Samsung smartphone will also come with the Korean manufacturer's homebaked Exynos 5433 chipset instead of the usual Snapdragon. In recent reports, the octa-core Exynos easily defeated the Snapdragon 805 in an AnTuTu benchmark comparison. 

This means the Galaxy Note 4 may be much powerful and faster than what we expected. 

Meanwhile, the new phablet is also rumored to come with a number of sensors, including the fingerprint sensor and heart-rate monitor of the Galaxy S5, an alleged UV sensor and even a retina scanner. 

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been one of the succcessful smartphones ever released by Samsung, and with the recent sales woes the Korean manufacturer is experiencing especially in Asia, it badly needs a new smartphone to increase the hype for its brand. 

A month ago, a study showed that Samsung has relinquished its crown as top mobile phone manufacturer in China to local brand Xiaomi, after two years of holding it. 

It is only a week before IFA officially begins and by then we may finally see what Samsung has in store for consumers, as well as its competitors in the market.
