With all of the drama surrounding the decision to move "Avatar: Legend of Korra" to an online only viewing platform, fans can rejoice that at the least the South Korean studio responsible for the action animation will continue with new support from DreamWorks.

Yesterday. Aug. 29, it was announced that the two studios would team up for a 78-episode animation deal. This has left left fans speculating over not only what "Legend of Korra Book 4" will entail, but also if there will be another "Avatar" installment in the future.

According to the Korea Herald, "Studio Mir, a South Korean animation studio, has signed a deal with DreamWorks Animation to produce up to four TV cartoon series over the next four years. The Korean studio, known for the 2-D martial arts fantasy TV animation ‘The Legend of Korra,' said Thursday that it would work together with the Hollywood animation behemoth in planning and producing the series, each with 78 episodes."

While Book 4 has already been confirmed by the series creator Michael Dante DiMartino, a lot of uncertainty still surrounds both the official release date and subject matter of the final season revolving around Avatar Korra.

Breathecast has gathered the current rumors for the upcoming final season including the speculation that it will follow "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and focus on the Fire nation. Furthermore, there are also speculations that the final book will be titled "Balance," but has yet to be confirmed from any substantial source.

13 episodes for Book 4 of "Avatar: Legend of Korra" have also been confirmed which leave a whole lot of a new episodes for Studio Mir and Dreamworks to work with. Given the wild success of both installments of the "Avatar" series, it would seem like a smart move to invest in another installment.

No official word has been confirmed on the next "Avatar" after Korra, but here's hoping the popular series gets a piece of the new 78-episode deal between Studio Mir and Dreamworks.
