Lumia 830 Release Date, Specs, Rumors: Finnish Phone Comes With Qualcomm Snapdragon; Gadget Still In Bright Colors

The Lumia 830 release date, specs and rumors reveal that the Finnish phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon as the gadget will still feature the traditional bright colors that the Lumia series is known for.

According to Windows Phone Central, which weighed in on the Lumia 830 release, date, specs and rumors, the gadget will have Microsoft Mobile and is set to be released in time when the iPhone 6 rolls in the market.

The website published photos of Lumia 830 after it was being evaluated for certification by Brazil's telecomm authority Anatel, which works like the FCC in the US.

"The Lumia 830 measures in at 139.4 mm x 70.7 mm x 8.5 mm, making it relatively thin compared to previous Lumia designs. From the images, we can also see the micro USB charging port is back on top again, near the headphone jack," the site said.

Unfortunately, since Anatel is like the FCC, the documents do not reveal exact specifications, although there are a few other tidbits gleaned from the photos:

Although tech blogs and websites have feasted on the Lumia 830 release date, specs and rumors, the documents from Brazil's Anatel hinted of the PureView camera, Microsoft Mobile is going to be seen on the label, a dedicated camera as well as LTE/4G capability.

The Geeky Gadgets revealed more Lumia 830 release date, specs and rumors when it confirmed that the gadget will come with a 4.5-inch display, although the resolution is still up in the air.

However, based on initial reports, the mobile device will feature either a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution or a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

"What we do know is that the Nokia Lumia 830 will come with Windows Phone 8.1, and the handset will be available in a range of bright colors, which will include green, yellow, white and black," it said.
