Taylor Swift's "The Voice" season 7 appearance as a guest adviser has been confirmed, according to reports.

The "Shake It Off" singer Taylor Swift's "The Voice" involvement will mainly be to advise all the selected contestants of the show, and help all the coaches - Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharell Williams - instead of being assigned to just one, in terms of how they would direct members of their team to victory.

According to Us Weekly, a source said that Taylor Swift's "The Voice" appearance will be only for an episode. "Taylor was an absolute pleaseure to work with," reportedly said the source. "She had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor."

Swift's appearance on the show is akin to that of Chris Martin's during "The Voice"'s previous run. And it's not her first time to grace the show either, as the pop star had performed on the fourth season of "The Voice."

According to Rolling Stone magazine, Swift made a surprise appearance at Michelle Chamuel's rehearsals for performing the former's song "I Know You Were Trouble." "That was so emotional," Swift reportedly said of the performance. "All the vocal runs you picked, it was so amazing."

While Swift's short stint in "The Voice" is exciting, there are other new things going for the show this season, like Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani taking over for Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera.

There had also been an announcement made regarding this season's coach-specific advisers. Adam Levine is slated to work with the legendary Stevie Wonder. Gwen Stefani will work alongside husband and rock star Gavin Rossdale. Blake Shelton is paired up with Little Big Town. And Pharrell Williams is teaming up with Alicia Keys.

The newest season of "The Voice" kicks off on September 22. Meanwhile, Swift's newest album - her first pop record - "1989" will be out in stores on October 27.
