Moto X+1 Moto X2 Release Date, Price, And Specs, New Leaked Photos: Motorola To Hold Launch Event September 4, AT&T Will Have Exclusive Customization Options With Motomaker [PHOTO]

The Moto X+1 also called the Moto X2 will be officially unveiled in three days at Motorola's press event in Chicago on September 4. We actually already know most of the information about the price, specs, and details already: here they are. 

The Moto X + 1 will replace the Moto X as the company's flagship smartphone.

A new image of the Moto X + 1 has leaked and it reportedly shows off a black leather rear case and aluminum frame option that will be available via Moto Maker.

TK Tech News is reporting that  AT&T will get the exclusive on the Moto Maker customization service. The site claims that its sources say the 32 GB AT&T Moto X + 1 will be made available for pre-order on Sept. 6 and will be priced at $199 with a new two-year contract. The AT&T Moto X + 1 will reportedly be released on Sept. 28.

There's no word on when we can expect to see the Moto X + 1 land on Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile.

Droid-Life dug up the FCC documentation for a Motorola device, and suspects that it is the Moto X+1, which should be unveiled at Chicago's Merchandise Mart on September 4th. That image is on the side. 

The device, which is given the FCC ID IHDT56QA1, should be carried by AT&T, according to Droid-Life, because it has all of AT&T's bands (GSM (850/1900) to LTE [2, 4, 5, 7, 17]).

The Moto X+1 isalso  rumored to feature a 3D screen, optical zoom and spot "Touchless Control."

Here are some specs of the Moto X+1 that have been speculated so far, and are likely correct. 

Display: 5.1-inch/5.2-inch screen, 1920 x 1080p

Processor: Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800

GPU: Qualcomm Adreno 330

Memory: 1.7GB RAM/2GB

Storage: 24GB/3GB

Camera: 12 mega-pixel rear, 2/5 mega-pixel front

Battery: 2,800 mAh/ 2,900 mAh

OS: Android KitKat 4.4.4

The Moto X+1 improbe on the X's camera performance and display by including optical zoom and 3D display-which could be a curved display, GSMArena notes. NDTV reports that the X+1 will run Android 4.4.4 KitKat and have a 2.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, two GB of RAM, and 16 GB of built-in storage.

According to BGR, postings by prominent Motorola leaker HellomotoHK indicate that the Moto G2 will come with a 720p resolution, five-inch display, dual SIM support, SD card space, an interchangeable back cover, and an eight-megapixel camera-a step up from the Moto G's five-megapixel camera.
